What is Aatma Yojana Kisan Award Program?

Farmers who adopt new technology and new methods in agriculture and related fields will now be rewarded by the government. The purpose of the government behind this is to take the farmers towards innovation so that they leave traditional farming and move towards modern farming, which can increase production as well as increase their income. For this, the government has started Kisan Puraskar.


These awards are given to the farmers under the Atma Yojana. The National Agricultural Extension and Reforms Mission (ATMA) scheme is being implemented across the country, under which various state governments reward farmers at different levels. Under the scheme, farmers who have done excellent work in the field of crop production, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, pulses and oilseeds are rewarded.


 


For which activities Atma Yojana Kisan Award is given

Under the Atma Yojana, the farmers who have done excellent work are given awards for these seven activities-


1. Agriculture and Horticulture 2. Animal Husbandry 3. Dairy 4. Fisheries 5. Organic Farming 6. Innovation 7. Agricultural Products


 


Farmers who have excelled in activities like processing and value addition are rewarded.


 


 


What level is rewarded

The Kisan Samman given under the Atma Yojana is divided into three levels. Accordingly, farmers can apply for this award.


1. State Level 2. District Level 3. Block Level


 


How much is the reward

Under the National Agricultural Extension and Improvement Mission (ATMA) scheme, as per the instructions of the Government of India, one lakh rupees will be given to the best Atma district at the state level and 50 thousand rupees to the second district as first prize. . At the district level, Rs.25-25 thousand will be given to 10-10 best farmers of each district and Rs.20-20 thousand will be given to 5-5 best farmer groups of each district. At the same time, 5-5 farmers of each development block will be given the best farmer award at an amount of Rs.10-10 thousand.


 


Only registered farmers can apply

The farmer is required to register himself for this award. Only registered farmers will be entitled to get the award under this scheme. Therefore, the farmers who have not registered themselves, they should register themselves in this scheme so that they do not face any problem in applying online.


 


 


Documents required for online application

*The scanned copy of the farmer's photo will have to be uploaded in JPG format up to 50 KV.

*The scanned copy of the farmer's signature has to be uploaded in JPG format up to 30 KV.

*The scanned copy of the Kisan ID card has to be uploaded in 200 KV JPG format.

Online application for Krishak Samman Award can be done by visiting the portal of Kisan Award Program under Bameti or Atma Yojana of Agriculture Department. For more details of Kisan Puraskar conditions, farmer's eligibility and process to apply and selection are available on DBT website of Agriculture Bihar.
